The purpose of this study is to establish the concept of video poetry as one of the various ways of reading modern poetry and to find that modern poetry can become contents through the process of producing video poetry. The premise of this paper is that modern poetry can also function as a content because contents are a representative cultural device in the digital age. In order to use poetry as content, readers must sharpen the sentiment or image of the poem through autonomous reading experience and emotion. In addition, the reader should be able to imagine the world beyond the work, and there should be a willingness to change it into his own way of expression. Through video poetry production classes, learners can understand video poetry, which is a fusion result of poetry and video, and increase interest in reading poetry. Readers should read poetry first in order to read it properly. Even with more interesting and informative contents than poetry today, attempts to find and experience the virtues of poetry are valuable. Readers independently embodies emotions and artistry through video poetry and this is a way to expand the communication method of modern poetry.
